Eamon Ore-Giron worked in figuration before developing his signature geometric abstract style recalling the desert landscape of of Arizona, his native state. For "Rising Sun" he has created two very large, interconnected paintings that continue his expansive "Infinite Regress" series. ... The paintings' dimensions were determined by the size of the two monumental paintings by Benjamin West ("Christ Rejected," 1814, and "Death on the Pale Horse," 1817) that they replace on the walls of the mezzanine.
