Pete Jr: Within a year or two, I played with Dad in this game. As I recall, it was run by Nettie Maddix. When she gave up the game, Joe Vaas took it over. He then moved it to the American Legion hall in Westwood, with most of his other games. Dad and I played in Westwood as well. . In the early 70s, while I was the Aquatic Director at the Y, my ex-wife Val and I played a lot of bridge in Westwood, and I directed some games as well. Joe had a bridge game every night and many days, and some of those games filled both floors of the building.
